Omer Count for the 2nd of the Hebrew Month Iyar

Day 17

DAILY PRAYER FOR THE COUNTING OF THE OMER:

Each day, one says the blessing:

Blessed are YOU, YAHUVEH our ELOHIM, KING OF THE UNIVERSE, WHO has saved & sanctified us with YAHUSHUA'S [JESUS CHRIST] BLOOD, filled us with HIS RUACH HA KODESH [HOLY SPIRIT], and has commanded us to count the omer.

Today is seventeen days, which is two weeks and three days of the Omer.

YAH the MERCIFUL ONE, may HE send YAHUSHUA to return to us quickly in our days in YAHUSHUA’S NAME, AMEN!

It is our constant prayer to be found pleasing to ABBA YAHUVEH, YAHUSHUA, and THE RUACH HA KODESH SWEET HOLY SPIRIT and to have a testimony unto Enoch. Enoch was taken up to Heaven alive because he was found pleasing unto ABBA YAHUVEH.

Just like Enoch was taken to Heaven, we pray to be counted worthy to be a bride of YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH as we wait for HIS return to take HIS bride. May HE find us ready and eagerly waiting as YAHUSHUA comes for an obedient bride with no spot or wrinkle.

We have completed 2 weeks counting to Shavuot Sitting At The Feet Of Our Master YAHUSHUA

Finally, all of you, be one in mind and feeling; love as brothers; and be compassionate and humble-minded, 1Pe 3:9 not repaying evil with evil or insult with insult, but, on the contrary, with blessing. For it is to this that you have been called, so that you may receive a blessing.

James 3:2

For we all stumble in many ways; if someone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who can bridle his whole body. James 3:3 If we put a bit into a horse's mouth to make it obey us, we control its whole body as well.

James 3:4 And think of a ship - although it is huge and is driven by strong winds, yet the pilot can steer it wherever he wants with just a small rudder.

James 3:5 So too the tongue is a tiny part of the body, yet it boasts great things. See how a little fire sets a whole forest ablaze!

Jas 3:6 Yes, the tongue is a fire, a world of wickedness. The tongue is so placed in our body that it defiles every part of it, setting ablaze the whole of our life; and it is set on fire by Gei- Hinnom itself.

A compassionate person is quick to put themselves in someone elses shoes to try to understand what they might be going through before opening their mouth and inserting foot!

If we expect people to have compassion for us, then we need to show compassion and walk humbly before others. Godly correction must be balanced with compassion as well.

When we speak evil/Lashon Hara we cause disunity and strife and it shows a great lack of compassion on our parts. We are to speak the truth in love, not cut each other ot ribbons with our mouth. I guarantee that when you harshly judge a brother or sister in Messiah you just might find yourself in that same situation and be in need of some compassion yourself, and you will not find it.

There are spiritual rules that must be followed and it is a spiritual truth that we will reap what we sow-good or evil..

Some Words Of Wisdom

When someone has refused to help you or has harmed you in the past, it is considered "revenge" to refuse to do him a favor in return. It is considered "bearing a grudge" to do the favor - while reminding him of the harm he did.

The evil inclination ("yetzer hara") works on getting a person angry in order that he should get back at the other person, if not in a major way, at least in a minor way. The evil inclination tries to tell you,

“ "If you want to give something to him - even though he refused to help you when you were in need - at least don't give it to him with a friendly smile.

Don't help him too much. Don't be too close a friend with him; it's enough that you forgive him and don't consider him your enemy.

Even if you do still want to be his friend, don't show him as much love as previously." These are the ways the evil inclination tries to entice people. Therefore the Torah states an all- encompassing principle: "Love your neighbor as yourself." "As yourself" means literally as yourself - without any difference or variation.

Forgiving People If someone has wronged you and then shows sincere regret and asks for forgiveness, what should you do? Go out of your way to do positive things for him that will express your love and concern for him. In this way, you are encouraging him for realizing his mistake and doing the right thing to correct it.

阿们!MAY YAHUSHUA OUR MESSIAH BE GLORIFIED IN EVERYTHING WE SAY AND DO AND MAY OUR PATH BE ONE THAT SEEKS TO WALK IN HIS FOOTSTEPS AND HIS LOVE AND COMPASSION.AMEN
